That’s a nice title isn’t it? Maybe I’ll make this a regular thing; if nothing else it’ll be an incentive for me get into my sketchbook regularly. I do dull design work all the time; working out the technical details of how something can be made, scribbling dimensions and calculating diameters, but I often forget to have fun. I think silly, nonsense drawings are just as important as the necessary design stuff; they keep my brain working and my absurdity meter topped up. Talking of which, here’s a few pages of nothing-to-do-with-metalwork-at-all-but-i-don’t-care sketchy stuff.
