Things have been super busy for me this past couple of weeks and I’ve not had time to post. But now I have a few minutes spare, I thought I’d share some pictures of what I’ve been up to.
As you might remember, I help out a local cake business with the decoration of celebration cakes. I’ve been doing lots of work there lately, and amongst other things I’ve been working on a cake to go in the shop window for a valentine’s display. It features wild animals and the centre piece is a leopard’s head. Naturally, I made this out of rice crispies.

That’s a pretty abbreviated series of photos; there were lots of other stages in between but you get the idea. I’ll post a picture of the finished cake when it goes in the shop window.
On the metal side, I’m working on a wedding band to be cast in platinum and some bridesmaid gifts.
I’m squeezing in a weekend away on Friday, so I’ll be back next week with an update. Now I better get back to work!
